Guiding Australia’s Aged Care Sector Through Reform & Renewal

Australian Aged Care Alliance Advisory (AACAA) partners with aged care providers to navigate regulatory reform, strengthen governance, and deliver person-centred care that meets the expectations of older Australians and their communities.

Independent Advisory Expertise for a Sector in Transformation

AACAA — Australian Aged Care Alliance Advisory is a specialist consultancy established to support aged care and community care providers through one of the most significant periods of reform in Australia’s history.

We bring deep operational knowledge, regulatory fluency, and a genuine commitment to the people at the centre of every service — participants, their families, and the workforce that supports them.

Practical. Grounded. Reform-Ready.

Our work is informed by over 25 years of senior executive experience across government and private sector roles — spanning strategic planning, operations, governance, clinical oversight, and compliance leadership.

We don’t offer generic frameworks. Every engagement is tailored to the provider’s size, community, regulatory context, and strategic ambition — from small CALD-focused organisations to large multi-site operators preparing for the Support at Home program.

Governance & Board Advisory

Board effectiveness reviews, governance frameworks, Non-Executive Director counsel, and strategic planning aligned to the Aged Care Act 2024.

Clinical Governance

Clinical governance structures, quality indicator programs, risk management, and compliance readiness under the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

Reform & Compliance

Support at Home transition planning, registration readiness, gap analysis, policy development, and regulatory response for providers at every stage of reform.

Culturally Inclusive Practice

Multilingual documentation, CALD community engagement strategies, and culturally responsive service design drawing on decades of multicultural aged care experience.

25+
Years Experience
Our principal brings senior executive leadership across both government and private sector settings — in strategic planning, operational management, governance, clinical oversight, and organisational transformation. This includes reform transitions, provider closures, and high-risk interventions for Australia’s aged care regulator. Qualifications include an Executive Master of Public Administration and deep expertise across metropolitan, regional, and remote service settings including work with First Nations communities.

From Boardroom to Frontline

We partner with providers who are serious about reform readiness, quality, and person-centred outcomes. Our clients range from small community-based organisations to established providers managing complex regulatory transitions.

  • Home care & Support at Home providers
  • Residential aged care operators
  • CALD & multicultural service providers
  • Community care organisations
  • Boards & governing bodies
  • Registered & associated providers

Sector Knowledge That Runs Deep

We’ve lived the reform — from both sides of the table. Our advisory work is grounded in senior executive experience across government and the private sector. We’ve held strategic and operational leadership roles, served on boards, advised regulators, and worked shoulder-to-shoulder with providers navigating the most challenging moments in their history.

We bring a rare combination of public sector strategic insight and private sector operational fluency — and we communicate in the language your board, your leadership team, and your workforce actually use.
